COUNSELING SERVICES

The role of our therapists is to provide a faith-based counseling approach within an atmosphere of compassion, understanding, confidentiality, and non judgmental support that encourages openness, trust, restoration, and healing. We provide services to individuals, couples, children, families, businesses and a variety of organizations. All counselors are licensed and experienced in their respective area of study and practice. EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

When employees are dealing with personal issues and cannot function at the level needed to perform their jobs adequately, the workplace becomes more stressful and unproductive. Shalom Employee Assistance Program is in place to assist you with these situations. Shalom in partnership with Fulton County Health Center provides 24 hour 7 days a week emergency and crisis care. Whether one needs outpatient or inpatient care we’ve got your workplace and your workforce covered. Our EAP provides confidential, professional counseling and referral services for employees and their dependants to help them resolve personal problems that are affecting job performance and personal well being. Shalom’s EAP services can be designed to provide intervention opportunities early in the process, minimizing problems to be resolved reducing the impact on performance. Our EAP provides a variety of services including assessment, evaluation and counseling for varied problems including emotional, marital and family issues, anger management, stress management, referral services for substance abuse and other addictions. Our professional, licensed counselors and therapists are available at the main office in Archbold, or our satellite office in Bryan. Arrangements can be made for services to be offered in one of our offices or onsite at the place of employment if there is a confidential, safe environment available.
