Welcome to the Shalom Wellness and Mediation Center 's website.
Before becoming the director at Shalom I spent more than 18 years in pastoral ministry and I know that we all experience difficulties in our lives. Our counseling and mediation services are based on values and principles of spirituality and psychology that are useful for all, from those who have no interest in faith or Christianity to those who are devote and deeply religious. When issues and problems with relationships or personal trauma make life feel unmanageable or hopeless, our caring and professional staff is here to help you. Give us a call at 419-445-1552 and we will be glad to assist you.
We are committed to helping individuals, couples, families, organizations, churches and the communities in which we live, experience peace, justice and wholeness. Check us out and see what Shalom has to offer or consider what you can do to help us help others

Kelly Sauder Neff
VORP Coordinator
My name is Kelly Sauder Neff and I am the VORP Coordinator at Shalom Ministries.VORP or Victim Offender Reconciliation Program is the mediation program we provide for victims and their offenders. We receive referrals from the local court systems when a person (juvenile or adult) has committed a crime and we meet with them and discuss the offense and their feelings. We also meet with the victim and go through the same process. If both parties are willing and ready, we bring them together and facilitate a comfortable and safe space for them to talk about what happened and negotiate restitution. The mediation process offers both parties the opportunity to find healing and closure.
I work at training volunteer mediators to mediate these cases as well as assigning cases and follow up.I also look at ways to improve and expand services throughout the area.I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies with an emphasis in conflict transformation from GoshenCollegein 2001.I have completed 40 hours of basic mediation training, 20 hours of victim offender mediation training, 40 hours of family mediation training and basic and advanced training in truancy mediation.

Therapist & Wellness Center Director
Life is a journey and Life is difficult. These are two concepts that have been real for me in my life.I think all the experiences I’ve been through have made me a better person – some of those experiences have been wonderful and some have been extremely painful.I believe turning the painful experiences into a gift I can then use with others is part of beingwhat God wants me to be.
I often hear in counseling sessions that “I never thought things would be like this.”I think when we focus on how we thought it should have been or we would have liked it to be, that we miss the growth we need to experience from dealing with how it is.
I am interested in walking with people on life’s journey. I think it is important to work at being whole and healthy as a person and in relationships and sometimes we can use the support of others to help us work towards that wholeness.
