Safe Places is the name of our Court Ordered Supervised Visitation Program at Shalom.

Safe Places is designed ... to provide a  safe, neutral, peaceful, and supportive  place for children to connect with their residential and non-residential parents and to meet the necessary requirements of court ordered Supervised Visitation in our communities. 

Our Vision for Safe Places is:

• To attend to the relational, emotional and communication needs of children and parents of divided families in the context of Court ordered Supervised Visitation.

• To reduce the anxiety, and trauma to children of families in crisis.

• To de-escalate tensions that exist between residential and non-residential parents.

• To empower children, adults, and our communities with healthier communication and relational skills thereby creating communities of peace and justice
